HAWKS SOAR IN MATCH #1
In the game against West Seneca Christian on September 10th, the Hawks soared to a 7 to 1 victory. Tom Wilkie led the way with 3 goals and 2 assists, followed by 2 goals and an assist for Soo Young Park and 2 Goals and an assist for John Mellas. Matt Mullin and Josh Schmidt also contributed on offense with assists. On the defensive side of the ball, Brett Szramka, Ian Kroening, Tim Adowski, and goalkeeper Jesse King all stood tall. The Hawks got off to a slow start in the first half, only taking a 1-0 lead into the half. But the offensive explosion came fast and continuous in half two. The goals kept coming. It was a strong effort from all players who touched the field. It was a great start to what hopes to be an excellent season.
